Learning Solutions

Leadership Role

Session includes an overview of the role of a leader, including emphasis on organizational outcomes and the costs/causes of turnover. Leaders who learn to manage change and work effectively with people serve as models for team development.

They develop effective communication, build trust, resolve conflicts and demonstrate that leadership can be learned, one skill set at a time. They earn the right to lead by modeling the skills that today’s business environment demands.

Giving and Receiving Feedback

Giving objective, honest, and relevant feedback to others is a critical skill for any professional. Developing this skill requires practice before it becomes routine and a daily behavior. Leaders sometimes delay giving feedback to others for some common reasons: fear of being misunderstood, damaging a professional relationship, or eliciting an emotional response. Delaying or withholding feedback negatively impacts leaders, team members, and the organization.

Coaching For Performance

This program is offered to all levels. It is designed to give leaders an understanding of the factors of motivation and how to foster great performers while building the skill sets of under-achieving performers. You will learn and use a practical coaching framework that is adaptable to each coach’s style. The emphasis is on building the coaching relationship.
